We will participate in the 18th Congress of the Spanish Association of Political Science and Administration (AECPA), to be held from 9 to 11 September 2026 at the University of Granada. In the context of this academic meeting, our proposal for a working group entitled "Polarization in multiparty systems: parliamentary elites and citizenship"which will be coordinated by the researcher Javier Anton of the POLIGENDEM team. This acceptance is a recognition of the research line developed by the POLIGENDEM project on political and social polarization in multiparty democracies and its relationship to gender identity and diversity policies. Our participation will allow us to share research advances, to contrast theoretical and methodological approaches with specialists from different universities and to contribute to the academic debate on one of the central phenomena of contemporary democracies.
